Face 2 Face Tour

I don't have a "Bucket List" perse, but if I did, seeing these two in concert would have been on it and can now be checked off. Elton John and Billy Joel was absolutely one of the best concerts I have EVER been to. I loved every minute of it.
They started out performing together, then each did their own separate songs, then a bunch together again. The concert lasted about 3 1/2 hours with no openeing act...I love that :)
I loved his jackets and had to get pictures of them!
We had amazing seats and an amazing time. The concert was actually supposed to be last November and Lance had a whole big surprise planned for my birthday. He had bought the tickets, made reservations and Christopher's and told me we were just meeting some friends for dinner. At dinner he was going to surprise me with the concert tickets for that night. It was a perfect plan, then the concert got cancelled! Luckily it was just postponed so we still did the dinner as planned, just a little later, and it was just as wonderful!

In March, a bunch of Lance's old friends put together a dinner with spouses.
It was so fun to meet some of them for the first time. It was a really fun night. We were so loud and laughing so hard, it's a good thing we had our own private room :)

Viva Las Vegas

Towareds the end of the year, we found airline tickets for $50 round trip so Lance and I decided to take a trip to Vegas! We went the 2nd weekend in Janaury as wind down from the Holidays.

We walked around the amazing new City Center. They have the coolest little candy/dessert shop inside. It's very modern and architecturally stunning!
We made a trip to Margaritaville They do this show every hour or so and it's pretty cool! We were right in front of the blender though and did get splashed!
So cute :)It was another wonderful Vegas trip and a nice way to start the new year!

Christmas in July?!

I know it's extremely late to be blogging about Christmas, but that's my style :P

Lance stalled me at work one day right before Christmas. When I got home I learned it was because he was making a special dinner as our early Christmas present was being delivered. I LOVED it!!!
Jax does too because it provides his own little space.Usually the Holidays are crazy and we have so many places to go and family parties planned. This year, Christmas Eve happened to be completely open. We decided to go to Tuscany, just the two of us. I hope it's not bad to say, but I hope this can become a yearly tradition. It was absolutely wonderful. We had the perfect evening (even talked to Mark Eaton for a bit), then came home and opened Christmas Eve presents. We also drove to Christmas Street which used to be a tradition when I was little, but couldn't find it. Next year we'll be more prepared with directions!
Christmas morning we went to Lance's dad's for breakfast.
Connor and Aurora Pa opening his presentChristmas morning in our jammies :)
Tevin wasn't so sure about the baby...
The grand and great grandkids with Pa.
We then went back to our house to let the kids open their presents.
They got some cool stuff! Including something they both asked for...Mt. Dew.
After that it was off to my dad's for dinner.
Love this little one!
And she loved her Dora camera!
This is Xena, their new dog since Hambone was put to sleep. I miss him, but she's a cutie! And she's a puppy who won't sit still!
The next day we went to my mom's for her Christmas party.
Annie is so darn cute!
Really, I just love her. She's adorable!!Sam loved his gift!
Cute, little Ry!
Adam and Lindsey

It was a busy, but wonderful Christmas and I can't wait to do it all again next year!
